'Twas the Night Before the Season Finale

Spoilers: Yes, there are several references in this poem to the various rumors and spoilers circulating about the end of season 2. So don't read if you want to be surprised. :)

'Twas the night before the season finale,
And all across the United States,
Scapers nestled snug in their beds,
A look of worried anticipation on each face.

For months rumors have flown
From chat room to bulletin board and back,
Wilder and wilder they've grown,
Trying to guess Scorpy's plan of attack.

"What will happen?" each one does ask,
greeting each revelation with a collective gasp.
They wonder how can John remain sane
With Scorpy's chip stuck in his brain.

And now at long last, does D'Argo find Jothee
And his father, will the boy be happy to see,
Or for them both will there be heartache?
Oh, how much grief can we Scapers take?

Will Zhaan cure John with her Delvian unity,
Or will Scorpy's plan unfold with impunity?
Will Aeryn meet her ultimate fate?
Hurry up, clock, don't make us wait!

Will Stark return this time from the grave,
Or this time will it be Crais and Talyn they save?
Chiana and Rygel, our talented thieves, are on the loose.
Perhaps it's they who'll cook Scorpy's goose.

Quickly now, let's all gather round,
So each of us can hear every sound.
The time draws close, it's getting near.
Oh why do I have this gnawing fear?

Maybe because I know as the season finale ends,
More questions than answers will then descend,
And another month or so of waiting
To see the resolution to the finale's baiting.

So my fellow Scapers, one and all,
It's Farscape time, let's have a ball,
And afterwards let loose still more speculation,
Until the premiere ends our trial and tribulation.
