Insurrection Part 10: Allies
Prowler flew at maximum speed away from Servec. The planet was small
compared to the fighter. The frigate closed fast. Sun disconnected from the
frigates commander and turned to Aeryn tied in the back. "Well traitor,
Scorpious said he had a chair for you, I don't really understand, but it
can't be good", said Sun. He concentrated on the controls as the 2 ships
docked. The air lock opened and 2 PeaceKeeper greeted them. "Get her
aboard", ordered Sun. One of them threw her against a bulkhead and her
comm. badge fell off. Sun picked it up and examined it. "A tracking device,
don't want your boy friend dropping in", said Sun throwing the badge into
the prowler. "Release the Prowler", ordered Sun. "Set a course for
Scorpious' ship", he ordered.
The weary eyed group of rebel officers sat in the small briefing room of
the Freedom. Crichton had a furious look on his face. "An arn ago, Captain
Sun kidnapped Aeryn and stole a prowler", reported Crichton. "He made it
past all our security, a total of....6 goddamn guards!", he shouted the
last part. "Tanga, your security chief, tell me how the hell he made it to
the air field and jacked a Prowler", he added. "John, she forged your
orders", said D'argo. "Yeah, the Peace Keeper bitch probably went to sell
us out", said Tanga. Crichton backed fisted her in the face, knocking her
off her chair backwards. He threw back his coat and grabbed his pistol.
Anjon and D'argo jumped on him and held him down. "You bitch, I'll kill
you!", exclaimed Crichton restrained. "Tanga, get out of here!" said
D'argo. She stormed out. "What the fell was that?", asked Chiana. "I don't
need that crap, errr dren", he said adding the alien word. "I guess the
meetings over", said Anjon leaving after Tanga.
The 3 sat for a second. "Look, we know how you feel about Aeryn", said
Chiana. Crichton looked surprised. "Don't be such a dren head, everyone
knew that y'all had something going on Moya", said Chiana. "You spent about
3 times more time with her than any of us", she added. "We all know Aeryn
wouldn't sell us out for anything", said Crichton. The others looked around
the room. "Right?" he asked. "Umm yeah", said Chiana hesitantly. He sighed.
"I have something to take care of, Stark said the engines are damaged",
said Crichton walking off.
"What do you mean the engines won't be repaired for 3 days!" exclaimed
Crichton to Stark over the comm. "Sorry sir, the coolant pumps failed and
the sub lights fused", said Stark. "Get it done as fast as you can", said
Crichton cutting off the comm. The sun was beginning to rise, but the
streets were already full. Sebasceans started their workdays at 3 a.m. and
ended at 1 p.m. because of the heat. He walked to the metal works. The man
behind the counter raised his head as Crichton entered. "AH Captain, I have
your order", he said. He brought out a knife slightly smaller than a Bowie
knife. It had a black handle, and 2 small blades on the sides. There was a
space between the blades, which came together at the tip only. Crichton
pressed a button on the handle and the two small blades spread apart.
"Thanks", he said.
The next day the group was gathered on the bridge. Zhaan was on the screen.
"The people of Draconis are rebelling and have requested the Freedom's
assistance", she said. "Unfortunately, the Freedom is grounded", said
Crichton. "You have 50 rebels on board, land them on the planet", said
D'argo. "Yes, I just wanted to contact you before I took any action", she
said. "Begin with the landing", said Crichton. "Good luck", he added.
The next day Aeryn struggled not to cry out as Braca punched her in the
stomach. "Tell us were the rebel ship yard is", said the Braca. Scorpious
stood behind them with a sadistic smile. "Yes, we know Servec doesn't have
that capacity", said Scorpious. The Braca continued the beating. "Enough!"
exclaimed Sun as he entered. "She won't tell you anything, you'll need the
chair", he said. "Plus you need here alive to get Crichton". "Now get to
the bridge, and bring her, high command is on the comm." he said leaving.
The group entered the battle cruisers bridge. "I want the Aurora chair here
in 2 arns", ordered Scorpious to Braca. A Peace Keeper appeared on the
screen, He was old and had an eye patch. "Commodore Ryken, it is a pleasure
to see you again", said Scorpious. "Silence, I have read your tactical
officer's report", said Ryken. "70% of the task force destroyed, 2 planets
lost, a 12 class weapons facility destroyed, and a leviathan load of our
most advanced weapons in rebel hands", he said. "I sent you the task force
because you said you could conquer the Sebasceans, capture Crichton, and
the Leviathan gun ship", he said. "You not only failed to do your
objectives, but now you also have a full insurrection on your hands", he
added. "I hadn't counted on the Urvidians or Crichton's ship", said
Scorpious. "But I do have Crichton's second in command", said Scorpious
pointing to Aeryn. "We will attack his base at Servec at once", he said.
"My tactical experts think that because of the loss of the leviathan, and
factory, that you don't the weapons or ammo to take on the rebels and
Urvidians", said Ryken. "You wait for me and my task force before you do
anything", he said. "Your coming here?" asked Scorpious nervously. "Yes, I
will arrive in two weeks, and I want Captain Sun to meet me half way in
Xervinza with a battle cruiser", said Ryken. He disconnected. "Have a nice
time", Sun said to Scorpious leaving.
Crichton and D'argo looked at Tralk and another Urvidian on the viewer. "We
well arrive in 10 arns", said Tralk. "Good, then we can discuss our
alliance", said Crichton. "Yes captain, we must combine our efforts", he
said disconnecting.
A few minutes later the comm. opened again, this time with Zhaan and a
Sebascean. "Greetings, I am Zajuke Baram, leader of the Draconis
Provisional Government, it is an honor to finally meet you Captain", he
said. "Your battles with the PeaceKeepers inspired us to fight", he added.
"And Zhaan's troops turned the tide of battle". Crichton smiled. "I will
come visit you in a week or so, but I need Zhaan and Moya back here", said
Crichton. "Rygel will be my emissary", he added. The comm. cut off.
Crichton sat in the Captain's chair and relaxed. "John, I have to know
something", said D'argo. "What buddy?" he asked. "I know you and Aeryn were
away for a while, I just wanted to know if you and her." he cut off.
Crichton looked up at the ceiling. "Nope". "Never?" asked D'argo laughing.
"Shut up, their hasn't been any time for it, plus its hard to get romantic
with a PeaceKeeper", he said. "Common buddy lets go get a drink", he added.
D'argo still laughed.
*Authors note. Sorry this episode kind of sucked, It was boring, but it had
to be done to set up the Next episode. Let me know what your favorite

"What the hell do you mean he's gone?" asked Crichton to the jail guard.
"Commander Sun said she had your permission to exercise the prisoner", the
guard replied handing over an electronic pad. Crichton looked it over, then
broke it. "It's a fake!" exclaimed Crichton. "Aeryn?" he asked over the
comm. "Aeryn". He got no response. "When did they leave?" he asked. "About
an arn ago, right after the prowler left", said the guard. "Damnit", said
Crichton running back to the Freedom. "D'argo, meeting in the Freedom, the
Suns have gone for a joy ride", he said over the comm.
